print making and Watercolor

These are some prints I made in printmaking italio which I'm currently taking in my senior year of college. Italio is a for of printmaking where you take copper plates and carve into them and place them in acid so the acid eats away at the places you have etched. You have to put ground on the plate before putting it in the acid so the acid only etches places you want and not the entire plate. I decided to do a series of Victorian set prints.

I messed up on a few prints and while I had nothing to do in class except listen. I decided to draw on the mess ups with a pink pen. I like how they came out.

I decided to print this one on different tones of paper because the tones give it different feelings. The white paper makes the picture look clean and modern while the tan toned paper makes the print look aged so it fits the Victorian theme better.

This is an image of my first print at different stages. The fist one is lighter than the second one. I made the first one and decided I wanted to darken the shadows so I put the copper plate in the acid longer.

These are some pieces I made in printmaking class in college. I don't really think printmaking is my thing. This was printmaking one in my sophomore year.

These are painting I did for my watercolor painting class.
